Scaffold requested had to provide a dual function:-

• Support System for Formwork

• Access System for finishing trades

False work scaffold (form support)

Uni-span supplied scaffold false work for the support of falsework to the underside of level 5 which was used as edge protection on the internal floors working to underside of level 5.

Support scaffold totalled approx 120 tons and was erected over a period of 14 working days. Upon completion of the falsework support, the scaffold was modified to provide an economical and functional access scaffold for finishing trades.

Perimeter scaffold

Roof level scaffold – A unique problem.

Cantilever scaffold was required off level 32 for the safe removal of 2 concrete columns.

Specialised cantilevered scaffold techniques were employed to minimize the risk of fall from heights and catch of falling debris, which then allowed the concrete cutter safe access to the work zone area.

Uni-span completed this task safely and to the complete satisfaction of the client.
